Troika Consultancy Ltd provides collaboration partnership working with Community Enterprises around the local area. These enterprises can be CQC Regulated or Non-CQC Regulated depending on the services being offered by the organisation or self-employed individual. 

Troika offers support to micro enterprises within the community including Services range from personal care, gardening, cleaning, rubbish disposal, shopping, community access and companionship .

These small enterprises would have completed a Development Programme with a local government body. This programme ensures micro enterprises are safe, effective and legal and can adhere to the Doing it Right Standards. This includes be registered with HMRC, have public liability insurance and/or other insurance relevant to services being offered, Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS), clear procedures of assessing needs and the use of experienced, competent, qualified and insured staff.

Newly CQC registered micro enterprises working within the local area provide services like domiciliary care, respite, supported living services or companionship within the community. 

How Troika Consultancy works with Micro Enterprises

Troika facilitates the process of seeking suitable Micro Enterprises who are able to provide the requested services to individuals who have personal budgets like Individual Service Funds, direct payments and/or self-funders. Troika manages the administrative tasks on behalf of the budget holder.

Services include contracting micro enterprises who offer:

  • Support with budgeting or bill payments
  • Personal care
  • Medicine prompt/ administration 
  • Shopping 
  • Domestic general or deep cleaning
  • Rubbish or house clearance services 
  • Respite services e.g. sitting or companionship services
  • Gardening or home clearance
  • Arranging and/or attending medical appointments

Troika acts as the immediate and direct contact for local authorities or individuals being supported via Individual Service Funds, Direct Payment holder, Self funders or self employed PAs – through a brokerage or managed service.

  • Troika processes and pays invoices to the micro enterprises on behalf of budget holders
  • Troika arranges services through a third-party micro enterprise e.g. CQC regulated enterprise, or non regulated enterprises within the community 
  • Troika facilitates and engages the micro enterprise to deliver required services
  • Troika communicates directly with local authority through partnership working regarding changes of individuals needs; changes in budgets etc. 
  • Troika request or attend reviews carried out by local authority for changes of a care and support plan 
  • Troika communicates directly with micro enterprises if any concerns or issues are raised by individuals supported through Troika services.

  • Troika ceases and/or changes of micro enterprise providers at the request of the individuals being represented by Troika.
  • Troika advocates on behalf of individuals being supported through them. 
  • Troika signposting to other local services within the local area. 
  • Troika provides coaching or supervision services to senior managers of small enterprises 
  • Troika facilitates network sessions or events with local micro enterprises  working in collaboration with Troika Consultancy Ltd 
  • Troika provides training or coaching, social work teams, micro enterprises and/or PAs regarding Individual Services Funds
