Independent Social Work Support & Consultancy

Troika Consultancy provides independent Social Workers who can deliver assessments, provide advice, act on safeguarding issues and complete legislative reports. We support the individual in professional settings including meetings, mediation and care reviews.

We work with Local Authorities, private clients and service users on all aspects of health and social care providing specialists including DoLs assessors and safeguarding leads.

Our social workers carry out safeguarding support, complete Care Act assessments, complete DOS assessments and represent individuals who lack capacity. Our service model ensures the rights, wellbeing and autonomy of individuals who lack capacity under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) framework. We provide an outcome focused and personalised approach whilst maintaining high-quality multiagency collaboration.

We advocate for the rights of the individual and ensure their wishes and preferences are heard. We assess their wellbeing, care and living conditions through regular visits and challenge DoLS authorisations when necessary, ensuring legal compliance.

Staff are trained in Mental Capacity Act 2005 Code of Practice and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Code of Practice as well as Human Rights Act 1998.
